SG’s Uniqueness

Palungan

Although UPH Surabaya does not use the term “Christian” in our name, we understand ourselves as a higher educational institution which was founded upon the life and teachings of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. That is the reason we develop our educational system based on the Biblical teaching according to the Reformed Tradition. We are also highly committed to the unity of the body of Christ and for this reason UPH Surabaya is eager to make partnership with all “local churches”.

Spiritual Growth Department, then, supports UPH Vision and see it as a Systemic Christ-Centered Education. Therefore the main task of SG is helping Students, Staffs and Lecturers of UPH Surabaya in developing their respective personal relation with God. This fundamental, we believe, will eventually produce a whole personhood which support their academic endeavors as each individual prepare him/herself for the tasks ahead in the future.
