On 27-28 October 2011 Universitas Indonesia in partnership with the Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business and with the support of the Indonesian Embassy in the Philippines convened The 6th ICBMR (International Conference on Business and Management Research) with theme The Business Challenges of the ASEAN Economic Community. This event was attended by many distinguished speakers from both academia and professional, such as: Dr. Aladdin Rillo, Director and Chief Economist ASEAN Integration Monitoring Office ASEAN Secretariat, Yohanes Kristiarto Soeryo Legowo, Indonesia’s Ambassador to the Philippines, and Gregory L. Domingo, Secretary Department of Trade and Industry Republic of the Philippines. Three young lecturers from UPHSurabaya, Oliandes Sondakh, Amelia, Vierly Ananta Upa, have their opportunity to presenting their paper in the event. This event give opportunities to broaden their knowledge and in addition to demonstrate the existence of UPHSurabaya.
