Prof. Louie Divinagracia, M.Sc., DBA - Dean of UPH Surabaya Business School
Prof. Louie Divinagracia, M. Sc., DBA joined UPH Surabaya in May 2008 as Dean of UPH Surabaya Fakultas Ekonomi and Head of the MM Study Program. Starting Academic Year 2009-10, he has also been appointed as Head of LPPM and Coordinator for International Relations. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) from the University of the Philippines, obtained his Master of Science degree from Kansas State University, and Doctor of Business Administration degree from De La Salle University.
Sari Mandiana, S.H., M.S - Dean and Head of the Magister of Law Study Program
Sari Mandiana, SH.MS Dean and Head of the Magister of Law Study Program. Joined Law Faculty University of Pelita Harapan Surabaya in Mei 2008. She earned her Bachelor degree in law from Surabaya University, and her Magister of Law from Airlangga University. She has been lecturer for 30 years in the law faculty especially in Criminal Law.
Prof. Dr.Marthen Pali, M.Psi. - Dean of UPH Surabaya Faculty of Psychology
Prof. Dr. Marthen Pali. M.Psi earned his Bachelor degree in Counseling from IKIP Malan and both Master and Doctor degrees in Psychology from Universitas of Indonesia. He has extensive experiences in managing educational institution. Before working in UPH Surabaya Campus, he was the Director of Graduate program in Universitas Negeri Malang.
He had been selected as a researcher in the National Research Council from 1995-2002. Right now, he is still actively joining professional organizations such as Ikatan Instrumentasi Bimbingan Konseling Indonesia and Himpunan Masyarakat Psikologi Indonesia.
Prof. Dr. John E. Batubara - Dean of UPH Surabaya Faculty of Industrial Technology
John Batubara received his bachelor degree in Physics and Master’s degree in Opto-electronics and Laser Applications from University of Indonesia, in 1975 and 1981, respectively. His longtime teaching job was at the Medical School University of Indonesia from 1975 until 1997. After he finished his research on Micro-Optics at University of Indonesia and Tokyo Institute of Technology, he earned Doctor of Engineering from University of Indonesia in 1987. He joined Universitas Pelita Harapan in Karawaci, Tangerang in 1994 and he started the position as the Head of Electrical Engineering Department. In 1997 he was appointed as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and in 2000 he was promoted as the Dean of Faculty of Industrial Technology. He also appointed as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs from July 2006 to June 2007 while he still served as the Dean of Faculty of Industrial Technology. In 2008, he moved to Surabaya and to serve as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Universitas Pelita Harapan Surabaya and also the Dean of Faculty of Industrial Technology. He is an active member of Optical Society of America (OSA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) joining the IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Photonics Society. He continuously serves as an Overseas Program Committee member of Micro-Optics Conferences sponsored by the Japan Society of Applied Physics from 1997 up to now.
Prof.Dr. Ir. Kuswara Setiawan,M.T. - Dean of UPH Surabaya Faculty of Computer Science
Prof.Dr. Ir. Kuswara Setiawan,M.T. joined UPH Surabaya in January 2009 as part timer lecturer and since March 2010, he has joined UPH Surabaya as full timer lecturer and been serving as Dean. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Electronics from Institut Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya and also his Master Degree in Control Systems from the same Institute. His Doctoral Degree in (Ilmu Pengetahuan Teknik) was from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Ir. Januar Januar Heryanto, MS, MBA – Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts
JANUAR HERYANTO was Branch Manager, then promoted to General Sales Manager and Vice President of a European multinational corporation (1976-1986). After completing his study and obtained his Master degree, he continued his service in the same organization for 10 years. During his service in 1988-1998, he was assigned to handle international projects, especially Japanese enterprises. His passion in learning and education had brought him to universities, where he was lecturer in Universitas Bina Nusantara and Ukrida, Jakarta in 1998. In 2002, he joined Universitas Kristen Petra, Surabaya as Vice Rector for Finance and Administration. His full time career in education rose to the next stage in Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) where he was appointed as Director of UPH Surabaya Development in June 2007. He received his engineering degree in mechanical engineering from Brawijaya (State) University in 1976, M.S. (Development Studies) from IPB, in co-operation with UKSW & Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam in 1989. He completed his Professional Development Program and obtained his MBA from West Coast Institute of Management and Technology in 2000. He was then appointed as Vice President for University Resources, UPH Surabaya in 2008 until now.
