
In general based on our vision and mission, producing professionals who graduate with integrity and are capable of making needed innovations in the field of psychology is the main concern of the faculty of psychology. This study program will give an introductory overview of the basic areas in the contemporary study of psychology and its application to everyday life.
Focuses and Career
Psychology graduates have very broad career choices since this field involves behavioral and mental functions of human mind. However, the currently developing career paths are as follows:
- Educational Psychology: Focuses on educational matters like the learning and teaching process, special needs student management, learning disabilities, etc. Career Opportunites: schools, universities, etc.
- Clinical Psychology: Focuses on clinical problems, mental health problems, and broad knowledge of clinical therapy. Career Opportunities: hospitals, clinics, mental health hospitals, etc.
- Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Focuses on optimizing human resources through improving the physical environment (work space and equipment) or changing the behavior and interaction patterns at work. Career Opportunites: business companies, factories, banks, media, etc.
